How To View The Full Trip On A Garmin Nuvi 260?

When I enter an address on the Garmin Nuv 260, and after the GPS finds it, the only option I have is to press GO. Is there a way view the entire route before I start the trip? Like a step-by-step listing of all turns, like how Mapquest shows it. Because right now I can only see the next turn when I am approaching it. This would be very helpful on longer trips to know the way its taking me before I get going.
