Charge it using the accompanying wall charger. You can start it up while its charging; most manufaturers suggest giving it a full charge before start up; its advisable to to do so because this ensures the batter has a long life.
If you are too eager to start it up - go ahead… but do give it one full good 5 to 6 hour charge the first time.
